Choosing to ignore email

Shawn Blanc makes the point about how he pre-decides to spend his time:

By “pre-deciding” that the majority of requests for my time and attention over email just go unanswered, it gives me a fighting chance at doing my best creative work every day.

I’ve always felt replying to most email is a waste of time when a quick phone call would suffice.
