How Your Data Is Stored

Local Storage

All your fasting data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your data never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud sync.

iCloud Sync (Optional)

If you use iCloud with the app, your data syncs across your devices through Apple's CloudKit service. This data is:

• Encrypted in transit and at rest
• Stored in your personal iCloud account
• Subject to Apple's privacy practices

We do not have access to your iCloud data.

What We Do NOT Collect

Third-Party Services

Apple Watch

The app uses Apple's WatchConnectivity framework to sync data between your iPhone and Apple Watch. This communication happens directly between your devices and does not pass through our servers.

Notifications

FastTempo uses local notifications to remind you about your eating windows. These notifications are processed entirely on your device. We do not use push notification services that would require sending data to external servers.

Data Retention

Your data remains on your device until you:

• Delete individual fasting records within the app
• Delete the app from your device
• Remove the app's data from iCloud (if sync is enabled)

Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: View all your data within the app
• Delete: Remove individual records or all data by deleting the app
• Export: Your data synced to iCloud can be accessed through your Apple ID settings

Children's Privacy

FastTempo is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
